Setoworks Surpasses 20 Billion Won in Global Crowdfunding Accumulated Amount
Setoworks, a global crowdfunding comprehensive agency led by CEO Cho Chung-yeon, announced on the 1st that its cumulative global crowdfunding amount has surpassed 20 billion KRW.
Setoworks, which created the concept of entering the global market through crowdfunding and continuing local sales through general distribution and e-commerce, has currently established a system that allows one-stop global crowdfunding in six countries. With specialized personnel in six countries, it has successfully completed over 500 projects on major global crowdfunding platforms such as Kickstarter and Indiegogo in the U.S., Makuake in Japan, Zeczec in Taiwan, Wadiz in Korea, and Modian in China, marking the highest number of successes domestically. The company explained that about 400 projects, accounting for 90% of these, were all conducted as one-stop full services for domestic companies’ global expansion, achieving the highest number of successful projects in Korea.
CEO Cho Chung-yeon of Setoworks said, “We are grateful to the domestic and international makers and clients who trusted us until we reached a cumulative global funding amount of 20 billion KRW.” He added, “Going forward, Setoworks will advance as a top-tier global commerce marketing group capable of providing the latest and optimized global marketing solutions based on the highest level of crowdfunding-related data in Korea, as well as country and platform data and global consumer data.”
He continued, “Recently, major projects we have overseen, such as Mokibo, Inbody Tempo+, and Magmo, have not been limited to a single funding but have continued to succeed through global one-stop funding on Kickstarter, Indiegogo, Makuake, Zeczec, and Wadiz. This is because we maximized the advantages unique to Setoworks, which operates 100% in-house.”
