LG Electronics Launches New Model of ‘LG PuriCare Objet Collection AeroTower’
- LG Electronics launches 2023 AeroTower new model with inverter-like warm air control to reduce electricity bills and noise
- 2023 AeroTower equipped with G filter and G pet filter, enhancing deodorization performance by about 95% compared to existing AeroTower V filter
LG Electronics is introducing a new model of the ‘LG PuriCare Objet Collection AeroTower’ with enhanced performance, reduced electricity costs, and improved noise levels, about a year after its initial launch.
The newly released 2023 AeroTower controls warm air in a manner similar to an inverter, saving electricity and reducing noise. When used in the warm air mode at level 1, which is the most commonly used setting by customers, the new model can save up to approximately 33% of electricity compared to the previous model. Noise has also been reduced by about 11dB in sleep mode compared to the previous model, improving to a level of 25dB, which is comparable to the sound of leaves rustling.
The 2023 AeroTower is equipped with a more powerful AeroTower G filter. The AeroTower G filter’s deodorizing performance has been enhanced by about 95% compared to the AeroTower V filter used in the 2021 model. According to TUV Rheinland tests, the cumulative purification capacity of the AeroTower G filter for three harmful gases in the air (ammonia, acetic acid, and acetaldehyde) increased to approximately 2,048mg, about twice the 1,050mg capacity of the previous V filter.
The new product also features a pet-customized purification function that was previously only available in the LG PuriCare 360-degree Air Purifier Alpha. After separately purchasing the AeroTower G Pet filter and upgrading to ‘Pet Mode’ through the LG ThinQ app, users can activate this function. Pet Mode cleans spaces shared with pets more powerfully with airflow that is 79% stronger than the previous model. The G Pet filter’s deodorizing performance regenerates when exposed to sunlight, allowing it to last about three times longer than the previous V filter.
Additionally, the new model incorporates a filter life sensor that was only installed in the LG PuriCare 360-degree Air Purifier Alpha. Unlike sensors that calculate filter life based on usage time, this sensor measures filter life by calculating the amount of dust on the filter through pressure. This allows for accurate calculation of the actual filter life, enabling users to replace the filter at the appropriate time without wasting filter life. The remaining filter life can be checked via the LG ThinQ app.
The new AeroTower warm air model is available in four Objet Collection colors: Calming Beige, Nature Green, Nature Cream White, and Nature Clay Brown.
An LG Electronics representative stated, “We have enhanced everything from the filter to electrical efficiency and noise to improve the AeroTower’s usability throughout all four seasons,” adding, “We hope more customers will experience the new AeroTower model, which offers improved performance while reducing user burden.”
