It was first introduced in Korea last year and received great acclaim. Along with choreographer Kim Ki-soo, world-class dancers including Seong Seung-yong, Lee Byung-jun, Shim Ju-yong, Kim Ki-joo, and Jung Soo-jin will appear, and geomungo performance will be by Kim Jun-young of the Creative Orchestra of the National Gugak Center of Korea.
A representative of the Korean Cultural Center New York said, “Korean b-boying, which is gaining worldwide attention, meeting gugak will be an opportunity to pioneer a new genre of Hallyu.”
