New York Korean Cultural Center Presents the Play 'Han!' in New York and New Jersey
[Asia Economy New York=Special Correspondent Seulgina Jo] The New York Korean Cultural Center announced on the 17th (local time) that it will hold the Korean women's monodrama 'Han!' performances in New York and New Jersey next month.
The performance is directed by renowned American director Thomas Richard and stars Korean performing artist Baek Hyun-joo. It features the lives and the sentiment of han (resentment) of three generations of women: grandmother, mother, and herself. The performance is conducted in Korean with English subtitles provided.
The performance schedule is ▲ February 9 at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City, New Jersey ▲ February 23 to March 5 at La MaMa Theatre in Manhattan, New York. Tickets can be purchased through each venue's website.
