Hyundai Department Store Unveils Customized Hanwoo Gift Sets for Lunar New Year
Hyundai Department Store announced on the 12th that it will offer the 'My Own Hanwoo Gift' set, which allows customers to choose their desired Hanwoo beef cuts and quantities during the 2023 Lunar New Year gift set sales period, running until the 21st.
'My Own Hanwoo Gift' is a customized service available at the meat counters of food halls in 16 stores nationwide, including the Apgujeong Main Store, where customers can select their preferred Hanwoo beef cuts and quantities and have them gift-wrapped in their chosen packaging. Customers can even specify the thickness and size of the meat, actively reflecting the recipient's taste.
The packaging comes in a total of 12 types, and quantities can be selected from 500g up to a maximum of 4kg. In particular, in line with the recent trend of enjoying wine with meat, mixed wine package sets are also available. Products can be picked up immediately after ordering, and quick delivery service (additional charges apply) or short-distance delivery from the department store is also available upon customer request.
Hyundai Department Store previously introduced customized gift sets for premium traditional food brand 'Myeongin Myeongchon' as well as fruit gift sets. The demand for customized gifts has been steadily increasing, accounting for 20% of all fruit gift sets and 40% of Myeongin Myeongchon gift sets during last year’s Chuseok holiday.
