View original imageEmart announced on the 5th that it will hold a 'Popular Whiskey Sale' on the 6th and 7th, offering discounted prices on brands such as Balvenie and Macallan.
During the event, on the 6th, Balvenie 12 Year DoubleWood (700ml) will be sold for 99,800 KRW, Balvenie 14 Year Caribbean Cask (700ml) for 178,000 KRW, and Monkey Shoulder (700ml) for 51,800 KRW. On the 7th, Hibiki Harmony (700ml) will be available for 138,000 KRW, Yamazaki 12 Year (700ml) for 298,000 KRW, Macallan 12 Year Double Cask (700ml) for 99,800 KRW, and Suntory Kakubin (700ml) for 39,800 KRW.
Emart began pre-planning the event with its partners before last year's Chuseok holiday. As a result, they secured 10,000 bottles of whiskey, including 6,000 bottles of Balvenie 12 Year, preparing the largest volume ever. According to Emart, whiskey sales increased by more than 30% compared to the previous year.
