Professor Park Seongmi of Dongseo University Appointed as the 12th President of the National University Liberal Arts Education Council
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Park Sung-mi, Dean of Minseok College of Liberal Arts at Dongseo University, was recently appointed as the 12th president at the regular general meeting of the National University Liberal Arts Education Council.
Dean Park will serve as president for one year starting from January 2023, leading the council.
Dean Park stated, "The role of university liberal arts education is more important than ever to nurture future talents in line with the revolutionary development of digital technology," and added, "I will strive to enhance educational capabilities through communication with liberal arts education stakeholders nationwide."
The National University Liberal Arts Education Council is a consultative body of heads responsible for university liberal arts education, aiming to develop liberal arts education in domestic universities.
