The Ford Explorer 2.3 Limited is equipped with a turbo engine from the 'EcoBoost' series, the '2.3L EcoBoost engine.' This engine produces 304 horsepower and 42.9 kg.m of torque, combined with a newly developed 10-speed transmission and AWD system.
The plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model, introduced domestically in August 2020, is equipped with a V6 3.0ℓ GTDI engine. It combines the gasoline engine’s maximum output of 405 horsepower and maximum torque of 57.3 kg·m with the electric motor’s maximum output of 75 kW and maximum torque of 30.6 kg·m.
