[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] Subsidiaries under SK Discovery have stepped up to help address the difficulties in blood supply caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
On the 15th, SK Chemicals announced that it conducted a blood donation campaign together with six affiliated companies: SK Discovery, SK Gas, SK Bioscience, SK Plasma, and SK D&D.
This campaign was planned to assist in maintaining an adequate blood supply, which has been challenging due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation, and to contribute to solving social issues while practicing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
The blood donation campaign was held nationwide, including in Seongnam, Ulsan, Pyeongtaek, and Cheongju, where SK Gas and SK Chemicals are located, as well as in Andong, where SK Bioscience and SK Plasma business sites are based. A total of 222 members from the six affiliated companies participated in this blood donation event, helping to stabilize the blood supply.
