Alpha Enerworks to Supply BIPV for New Building on Gangnam Station New York Bakery Site
Designed to install BIPV color modules on the south side of the building
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Alpha Holdings announced on the 25th that its subsidiary Alpha Enerworks has signed a supply contract to deliver building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules to the 'Opus407 Building,' currently under construction on the site of New York Bakery near Gangnam Station.
Alpha Enerworks is a specialized manufacturer of building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules and has commercialized color BIPV modules. The Opus407 Building, located on the former New York Bakery site just one minute from Gangnam Station, is an office building with 2 basement floors and 15 above-ground floors, scheduled for completion in March 2023. Aegis Asset Management is the developer, and Taeyoung Construction is the contractor.
From the design stage, the Opus407 Building incorporated plans to cover a portion of its own electricity consumption through eco-friendly energy generation, leading to the installation of Alpha Enerworks' BIPV color modules on the south side of the building.
