[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] Daedong announced on the 24th that it has been selected as the No. 1 company for two consecutive years in the agricultural machinery tractor category of the '2022 Korea Quality Satisfaction Index' organized by the Korea Standards Association (KSA).
The Korea Quality Satisfaction Index is a quality evaluation model jointly developed in 2004 by the Korea Standards Association and the Korean Society for Quality Management. It measures quality excellence and satisfaction among consumers and experts. Daedong achieved the highest score in the agricultural machinery tractor category and was selected as the No. 1 company for two consecutive years following last year.
This year, Daedong promoted the smart factory transformation of its Daegu plant in the first half of the year, realizing real-time production status monitoring. According to Daedong, workers can check the quality information of the produced products in real time, and through thorough pre-shipment maintenance, the assembly quality of products is continuously improved. The agricultural machinery remote control service 'Connect,' introduced in large tractors, was also applied to medium and large tractors this year.
