Dongseo University Wins Grand Prize and Receives Awards for Four Consecutive Years at Daejeon Visual Art Tech Awards

The competition was hosted by Daejeon City and organized by the Daejeon Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency.
Held on the 8th at the Daejeon e-Sports Stadium, the 'Daejeon Visual Art Tech Awards' is an event that selects works contributing to the development of the Korean visual effects field, discovering and awarding outstanding artists.
The Visual Art Tech Awards is a contest open to amateurs and active VFX professionals, with the final winners determined by combining online voting and expert judging.
The work that won the Grand Prize and a prize of 4 million KRW was "Get Back," co-produced by Visual Animation students Shin Joo-eon, Baek Ja-yeon, Park Ji-hae, and Kim Ye-na.
The work "The Pendant" by Kim Dong-ik, Ha Ye-jin, Kang Da-hyun, and Ryu Ji-yeon received the Excellence Award and a prize of 1 million KRW, while "Back Then, That Street," co-produced by Park Ki-beom, Kim Da-hee, Kim Yu-ri, and Son Kyu-seop, received the Encouragement Award and a prize of 500,000 KRW.

The works that received the Grand Prize, Excellence Award, and Encouragement Award are the results of classes conducted in the Department of Visual Animation utilizing the Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Modular Capstone Design Support Program.
