Singer IU Donates 200 Million Won... "Hoping These Hearts Gather to Bring Small Miracles"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] Singer IU donated a total of 200 million KRW to pediatric patients and young adults preparing for independence. The donation was made on the 18th, marking her 14th debut anniversary.
According to her agency, EDAM Entertainment, IU generously donated 100 million KRW to the Asan Social Welfare Foundation to support pediatric cancer and female cancer patients, and another 100 million KRW to the Seoul Child Welfare Association to support young adults preparing for independence.
Through SNS, IU stated, "I hope that these feelings gathered will bring small miracles to someone once again," and added, "All the time spent with our U-Aena (IU fans) over the past 15 years (14 full years) has been my golden hour. Thank you and I love you very much."

Debuting on September 18, 2008, IU has established herself as a leading domestic singer over 14 years. She formed a powerful fandom regardless of gender and became the first female singer in Korea to hold a solo concert at the Seoul Jamsil Main Stadium. Over 80,000 people attended the concert over the two days, September 17 and 18.
