KAMCO to Auction Seized Assets Worth 242.7 Billion KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] Korea Asset Management Corporation (hereinafter referred to as KAMCO) is auctioning off 1646 items worth 242.7 billion KRW.
On the 17th, KAMCO announced that from the 19th to the 21st, over three days, it will auction 1646 items worth 242.7 billion KRW nationwide through Onbid, including 378 residential buildings such as apartments and houses.
The auctioned items are properties entrusted to KAMCO by public institutions such as tax offices and local governments to collect delinquent taxes. This auction includes 637 items with a scheduled sale price at or below 70% of the appraised value.
Major items scheduled for sale include 'Lotte Castle Galaxy' in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul. The scheduled sale price is 2.191 billion KRW, which is about 70% of the appraised value (3.13 billion KRW). Additionally, 'Gwanak Woosung Apartment' in Bongcheon-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul is priced at 90% of the appraised value (1.026 billion KRW), and 'Tanbeolli Hyundai Apartment' in Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do is priced at 100% of the appraised value (757 million KRW).
