KOTRA to Promote Korea at China Investment Expo
Participation as the Guest Country at the 'China International Fair for Investment and Trade' Starting from the 8th
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) will participate in the "22nd China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT)" held for four days from the 8th in Xiamen City, Fujian Province, China, by setting up a Korean pavilion. This is to serve as a bridgehead to lead the expansion of trade and investment between Korea and China.
CIFIT is the largest investment expo in China that promotes the investment environment of various countries and discusses investment cooperation. More than 90 countries worldwide participate. Korea was invited as the guest of honor at CIFIT to commemorate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The Korean pavilion will be set up on a record scale of 420 square meters (㎡). The pavilion is divided into ▲national and local government investment promotion area ▲Busan Expo promotion area ▲Korean product promotion area.
In the investment promotion area, cooperation with 22 local governments nationwide and free economic zones will promote regional investment strengths and promising industries. The Busan Expo promotion area will combine the strengths of Korea and Busan to inform senior officials of the Chinese government and enterprises about the justification for hosting the Busan Expo. In the Korean product promotion area, products from more than 50 excellent consumer goods companies will be exhibited, and online promotion will be conducted simultaneously to attract the attention of Chinese buyers and consumers.
