The Hope Package sharing event has been participated in for three years since 2020. Ahead of the Chuseok holiday, it involves creating and delivering 100 sets of hope packages filled with comfort and warmth to socially marginalized neighbors in the region who are experiencing loneliness.
The hope package gift sets, packed together by Daesung Energy employees and the Red Cross Volunteer Society Seo-gu District Council, are thoughtfully composed of eight essential items including instant meals and canned goods, and will be delivered to 100 vulnerable households in the Seo-gu area.
Yoon Hong-sik, CEO of Daesung Energy, said, “Although people are somewhat tired and struggling due to rising prices and COVID-19, I hope that small sharing and attention for neighbors in need will continue so that everyone can have a warm ethnic holiday Chuseok. Daesung Energy employees will continue to strive to take the lead in spreading a culture of sharing for the socially marginalized in the region.”
