Samkwang Medical Foundation Recruits Pathology Specialist Professor Son Jinhee
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] Samkwang Medical Foundation announced on the 6th that it has recruited Professor Son Jin-hee, former chairman of the Korean Society of Pathologists, as a pathology specialist at its Seoul headquarters.
Professor Son graduated from Korea University College of Medicine and received her master's and doctoral degrees from the same university. She has contributed to the development of pathology in Korea by serving as a clinical professor at Kangbuk Samsung Hospital, a professor in the Department of Pathology at Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine, chairman of the Korean Society of Pathologists, and chairman of the Korea Genetic Testing Evaluation Institute.
Professor Son said, “Based on my accumulated experience as a pathology specialist, I will strive to further enhance the expertise of diagnostic and pathology services.”
