Gangneung 'City (Sea Tea) Bus' to Operate Major Tourist Attractions Starting Next Month on the 1st

[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gangneung City, Gangwon Province announced on the 28th that "for the purpose of fostering a tourism hub city project, from August 1st, the Gangneung City Sea Tea Bus will operate from Anmok Coffee Street to Jumunjin Beach (one-way 23 km)."
The main tourist spots along City Bus Route 1 include Anmok Coffee Street, St. John's Hotel, Gyeongpo Beach, the Goblin filming location, and Jumunjin Beach, with 16 round trips per day. The fare is the same as the existing city bus.
The city expects that riding the Sea Tea Bus along the northern coastal area of Gangneung will be the only route in Korea where tourists can enjoy the scent of coffee, pine trees, and the sea breeze, thereby enhancing tourist convenience and satisfaction and contributing to the local economy.
