Kim Young-hoon, CEO of Meisa, and Park Joon-tae, CEO of Greenit, announced on the 21st that they signed a business agreement to develop an integrated golf course management solution utilizing drones. Meisa plans to link its drone automatic flight path system and 3D mapping technology with Greenit's integrated golf course management solution.
Meisa is a spatial information specialist company that provides the Meisa platform, a solution that digitalizes construction sites using drones and enables surveying, progress measurement, and design/construction error analysis through 3D models including coordinate systems. Greenit, the number one golf course management solution company in Korea, possesses an integrated management system (GMS), GPS cart control system, and mobile contactless solutions.
Leveraging collaboration with Greenit, Meisa plans to diversify its business model into various industries where drones and spatial information can be integrated, such as infrastructure and agriculture/fisheries, beyond the existing construction industry.
CEO Kim said, "Overseas, cases of utilizing ICT technologies such as drones and the Internet of Things (IoT) for golf course management are increasing," adding, "We will rapidly advance the strategies and technologies of both companies to prove the advancement of the domestic drone industry with technology developed in Korea."

Meanwhile, Meisa, selected as a drone regulatory sandbox operator for two consecutive years, is conducting research on a 'drone solution for real-time response to major accidents.'
