To minimize traffic congestion and inconvenience to citizens in the downtown area, the police plan to install 30 guide signboards around the rally and march routes and deploy about 300 traffic police officers. A Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency official urged, "If passing through the downtown area, please use public transportation such as the subway as much as possible, and if you must drive, please follow detour routes around congested areas and obey the traffic police's hand signals."
