KakaoBank Launches '26-Week Savings with Oneul-ui Jip'
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] KakaoBank is launching a savings product that offers coupons for the lifestyle platform 'Oneul-ui Jip' (Today’s House).
KakaoBank announced on the 21st that it will release the '26-Week Savings With Oneul-ui Jip' product.
KakaoBank’s ‘26-Week Savings’ is a product where customers select one of 1,000 KRW, 2,000 KRW, 3,000 KRW, 5,000 KRW, or 10,000 KRW as the initial weekly deposit amount, and the amount is automatically increased by that same amount every week for savings. At maturity, it offers an interest rate of up to 3.00% per annum. This product now partners with Oneul-ui Jip to provide coupon benefits.
By opening a '26-Week Savings With Oneul-ui Jip' account on the KakaoBank mobile application (app) and successfully making automatic transfers for 26 consecutive weeks, customers will receive discount coupons worth a total of 34,000 KRW over seven occasions. Specifically, a 5,000 KRW coupon is issued upon consecutive success in weeks 1, 9, and 21. A 3,000 KRW coupon is provided for consecutive success in weeks 5, 13, and 17, and a 10,000 KRW coupon is given upon consecutive success in week 25.
Coupons issued can be registered on the Oneul-ui Jip mobile app to receive discounts when purchasing products sold on Oneul-ui Jip, including furniture, home appliances, daily necessities, and camping gear.
The subscription period is until the 20th of next month, and only one account can be opened per person. Detailed information on coupon validity periods and usage conditions can be found on the KakaoBank and Oneul-ui Jip mobile apps.
Additionally, all subscribing customers are eligible for a 100% prize-winning raffle event. Winners will be selected by lottery to receive either the 'Chunsik-i Double Heat-Resistant Glass Cup' merchandise (50,000 people) or a 1,000 KRW discount coupon for Oneul-ui Jip.
