Korea Import Association Discusses Cooperation Plans to Expand Bilateral Trade with Jordan Ambassador
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Importers Association announced on the 13th that it held a meeting with Asal Al-Tal, the Jordanian Ambassador to Korea, at the association's reception room in Bangbae-dong to discuss cooperation measures for expanding trade between the two countries.
Asal Al-Tal, the Jordanian Ambassador to Korea, explained the plan for a joint public-private economic delegation from Jordan to visit Korea in October and requested the association's active support for the Korea-Jordan Business Seminar and business matching with companies from both countries.
He also mentioned plans to participate in the Import Goods Exhibition held at COEX starting on the 23rd, showcasing Jordan's representative products such as cosmetics made with Dead Sea ingredients, and requested that an import delegation be dispatched to the Amman region of Jordan.

Kim Byung-kwan, chairman of the Importers Association, stated, "The Import Goods Exhibition is being prepared as a global B2B sourcing fair with participation from over 120 companies from more than 60 countries this year," adding, "Along with the Jordan visit event in October, the association will actively strive to expand trade with Jordan."
