Exchange Signs MOU with Korea Technology Credit Rating for Specialized Evaluation of Technology Special Listings

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Myunghwan Lee] The Korea Exchange announced on the 23rd that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on mutual cooperation with Korea Technology Credit Bureau (KTCB).
Under this agreement, both organizations will establish a cooperative relationship for specialized evaluation tasks to promote the listing of outstanding technology companies on the KOSDAQ market.
The number of companies applying for specialized technology evaluation, a preliminary step for KOSDAQ technology special listing, reached 81 last year, the highest since the system was introduced in 2005. Companies can apply for technology special listing if the evaluation grade from the specialized evaluation agency meets a certain level or higher.
Through this MOU, the Exchange has secured 23 specialized evaluation agencies to conduct specialized technology evaluations.
Nam Wook, CEO of Korea Technology Credit Bureau, said, "This agreement will serve as an opportunity to provide technology credit evaluation services based on Korea Technology Credit Bureau’s differentiated big data on technology patent information to the capital market."
