PrecisionBio Officially Launches Two Influenza Diagnostic Reagents in Japan
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Precision Bio announced on the 18th that it has obtained product approval and launched the immune diagnostic analyzer 'Exdia TRF plus' and two types of infectious disease diagnostic reagents in collaboration with the Japanese conglomerate Aiken.
The product, released on the 15th of this month, qualitatively measures the presence of influenza virus A and B antigens in human nasopharyngeal extracts to diagnose viral infections.
Precision Bio is preparing to launch major immune diagnostic products such as cardiovascular and hormone tests, as well as clinical chemistry diagnostic products, using the high-sensitivity TRF platform, starting with infectious diseases.
Kim Han-shin, CEO of Precision Bio, said, "Our goal is to continuously increase our recognition in advanced markets such as Europe and Japan and successfully enter the world's largest in vitro diagnostic market, the United States, within this year."

Precision Bio is currently selling the Exdia TRF analyzer and cartridges mainly in Europe, including Switzerland, Germany, and Austria, and plans to expand the countries of release to the Middle East and Asia following this entry into Japan.
