Pukyong National University and Dongseo University Sign Agreement to Foster Lifelong Learners in the Southeast Region

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Graduate School of Technology Management at Pukyong National University and the Future Career College at Dongseo University signed a business agreement on the 6th to establish a convergent technology education environment and an advanced education system for lifelong learners in the southeastern region.
Director Lee Woon-sik of Pukyong National University and President Park Byung-joo of Dongseo University signed the agreement at Pukyong National University and agreed to cooperate on ▲ operating educational programs related to 4th Industrial Revolution technologies and various academic fields ▲ mutual personnel exchange to improve the quality of the convergent technology education environment ▲ promoting industry-academia cooperation and linkage of advanced education systems for convergent technology commercialization.
Director Lee Woon-sik of Pukyong National University said, “We will actively cooperate with Dongseo University’s Future Career College to establish a convergent technology education environment and an advanced education system, and strive to nurture lifelong learners in the southeastern region.”
The Graduate School of Technology Management at Pukyong National University has been producing professionals to enhance the innovation capabilities of the southeastern region since 2011, when it first launched the Technology Management Cooperative Program at a national university graduate school.
With the goal of becoming a “hub for innovation in key industries and creation of startups and new industries in the southeastern region,” it is committed to fostering innovative leaders for the innovative growth of key industries such as automobile parts, shipbuilding, and machinery in the southeastern region, as well as for new industry creation such as blockchain technology commercialization. It also focuses on building a convergent technology commercialization ecosystem and creating and disseminating regionally customized technology management knowledge.
Dongseo University’s Future Career College is a lifelong education college. It has established a lifelong education system centered on specialized competencies to provide educational opportunities to those aged 30 or older or those who have worked for more than three years after graduating from specialized high schools.
