[Special Stock] Korea Electronic Finance Rises on News of Kiosk Collaboration with LG Electronics
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Myunghwan] Korea Electronic Finance is showing strong performance in the afternoon session on the 5th following news of collaboration with LG Electronics.
As of 2:20 PM on the same day, Korea Electronic Finance is trading at 6,550 KRW, up 13.91% (800 KRW) from the previous trading day.
This is interpreted as a result of Korea Electronic Finance's solution being used in LG Electronics' new product. LG Electronics announced that it plans to launch the 'LG Kiosk' this month, equipped with a self-ordering and payment solution designed for installation and use in food and beverage stores. The product will feature Korea Electronic Finance's kiosk-dedicated UX (user experience).
LG Electronics plans to release the product in North America, Europe, and other regions within this year, starting with Korea.
