The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that rain will start from Jeju Island in the morning, expand to the southern regions during the day, and spread nationwide from late afternoon. Expected precipitation amounts are 5-20mm in Gangwon Yeongdong and Jeju Island, and around 5mm elsewhere nationwide.
The rain will begin to stop from the western regions at dawn on the 31st and will cease in most areas by morning. Some places in Gangwon Yeongdong, the northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk, and the northern East Coast of Gyeongbuk will still experience rain in the afternoon. In the Gangwon mountains, temperatures will drop, resulting in about 1-5cm of snow.

The lowest temperatures on the morning of the 31st will be 4-12°C, and the highest daytime temperatures will be 8-18°C. After the rain stops, cold air will flow in from the north, causing temperatures to drop significantly on the morning of the 1st. The lowest temperatures on the morning of the 1st are expected to be -2 to 7°C, and the highest daytime temperatures 10 to 16°C. Temperatures will gradually recover from the weekend, and warm weather will continue from the 4th of next month.
