Yonsei and Seoul National University to Host International Conference on 'Netflix and Hallyu'

The Yonsei University East-West Issues Research Institute (Director Professor Woo Mi-sung) and the Seoul National University Asia Center Hallyu Research Center (Director Professor Hong Seok-kyung) will hold an international academic conference on the theme of 'Netflix and Hallyu' at the Asia Center Yeongwon Hall of Seoul National University from April 8 to 9.
Co-hosted by Simon Fraser University in Canada and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, this conference is significant as it is the first international academic conference on the topic of Netflix, organized through collaboration between two leading domestic universities in Korean studies and overseas Korean scholars.

A total of 45 scholars, including presenters, discussants, and chairs, will participate in the conference, which will be conducted in English. Participation is possible through pre-registration via the poster QR code, and the event will be live-streamed on YouTube.
