During this volunteer activity, employees packaged meat, fresh fruits, and retort foods, which were then delivered to children from low-income single-parent families. Due to the difficulties of face-to-face volunteering amid COVID-19, the event was conducted on a small scale for safety, and the supplies were delivered to each household contactlessly.
Jeon Jae-hyun, director of the World Vision Songpa Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, said, “There are many vulnerable families in our community, and we are grateful that the employees of Hans Biomed willingly participated in this sharing event by packaging and delivering food supplies for local residents. The welfare center will also do its best to help single-parent families live healthy and happy lives.”
