The Korea Footwear and Leather Research Institute is an internationally accredited testing institution that conducts quality evaluation of footwear and leather products. Established in 1987 under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, it is a specialized production technology research institute aimed at enhancing technology and international competitiveness in the field of footwear and leather-related materials and components.
