Kim Byung-kwan, CEO of Heritage Cashmere Korea, Appointed New President of Korea Importers Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Kim Byung-kwan, CEO of Heritage Cashmere Korea, has been appointed as the new president of the Korea Importers Association.
The Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) held its 52nd regular general meeting on the 25th at the Construction Hall in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul, and appointed CEO Kim Byung-kwan as the 22nd president.
President Kim expressed his ambition, stating, "I will resolve the difficulties faced by over 8,000 KOIMA member companies and actively utilize the global network with foreign embassies in Korea and overseas related organizations to support the creation of new business opportunities."
He added, "The 60 subcommittees categorized by industry will serve as a think tank for Korea, supporting government trade policies and companies."

Born in 1962, President Kim has received awards such as the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Commendation, Seoul Customs Office Commendation, and Korea Small Giants Award. He has also served as vice president of the Korea Small Giants Association and vice president of the Korea Fashion Industry Association.
