The Seoul Southern District Court began the pretrial detention hearing for Kim Mo (31) around 2 p.m. and is currently reviewing the necessity of detention. The decision on Kim's detention will be made within the day.
Kim, who appeared in court, did not respond to reporters' questions such as "Do you admit the charges?", "Why did you report yourself?", and "When did you plan the killings?".
Kim is accused of killing his parents and older brother at his home in Yangcheon-gu on the 10th (parricide and murder).
