Spokesperson Park said, "During the flower offering and incense burning ceremony, President Moon was the last to offer flowers and incense, and on behalf of the people, he expressed condolences to each bereaved family member. The father of the late firefighter Jo Woo-chan asked President Moon to establish measures to prevent recurrence," she conveyed.
Spokesperson Park explained, "President Moon instructed Fire Commissioner Lee Heung-kyo to implement measures to prevent recurrence and to organize the firefighting response system, and requested Acting Governor Oh Byung-kwon of Gyeonggi Province, who is the funeral committee chairman, to prepare measures for managing hazardous materials at construction sites."
