Justice Party Unveils New Subcolors Adding Red, Green, and Purple to Existing 'Yellow' Party Symbol
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] The Justice Party unveiled new party image (PI·party identity) sub-colors on the 17th, adding red, green, and purple to the party's symbolic color of yellow, which has been used since 2014.
On this day, the Justice Party held a 'PI Sub-color Unveiling Briefing' at the National Assembly and explained, "By adding new colors, we aimed to symbolize a more progressive and transformed Justice Party," and "to express the party's political orientation toward resolving inequality, the climate crisis, and discrimination."
The Justice Party named each color as 'Neorangnorang', 'Pittemppalgang', 'Sandeulchorok', and 'Pyeongdeungbora'.
Neorangnorang represents ▲ 'solidarity and coexistence'; Pittemppalgang symbolizes ▲ labor; Sandeulchorok stands for ▲ climate crisis response and environment; and Pyeongdeungbora signifies ▲ gender and gender equality, respectively.

Candidate Shim said, "Today, the Justice Party's colors have diversified," adding, "Yellow has become clearer and broader. Here, green and red join hands to embrace purple, completing the color of the future." He continued, "A society where these diverse colors unite and coexist is the future I, Shim Sang-jeong, am striving for, and the color of the multi-party responsible coalition government I have proposed." He emphasized, "In the remaining 82 days until the presidential election, I will draw a wider circle of yellow hope so that red, green, and purple can all join hands."
