Lotte Members Launch Art Tech Season 2... Recruiting Investors for Banksy's Work 'Jack and Jill'
Exclusive Event on L.POINT App Starting from the 22nd
L.POINT 10% Payback, L.PAY Payment Event, and More
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Members announced on the 15th that starting from the 22nd, they will begin recruiting investors to participate in the second fractional investment of graffiti artist Banksy's works through the L.POINT mobile application.
The investment target this time is the print work "Jack and Jill," limited to a total of 350 pieces. It is characterized by Banksy's distinctive socially critical message. It includes a handwritten signature, production year, and has been verified by "Pest Control," the official authentication body for Banksy's works.
In July, Lotte Members integrated the art investment platform "TESSA" into the L.POINT app, launching the country's first "Point Art-Tech" service?a combination of art and financial technology?that allows investment in artworks using membership points.
At the time of the service launch, the first fractional investment was conducted on Banksy's "Girl with Balloon," with 953 members participating and purchasing fractional ownership worth a total of 222.6 million KRW. Among these, approximately 57 million KRW was paid using L.POINT.
This time, in addition to L.POINT payback, an L.PAY payment event has also been prepared. Until the 5th of next month, customers who purchase fractional ownership with L.POINT will receive a 10% re-credit of the used points (up to 10,000 points) once per person. When purchasing fractional ownership and paying with a Shinhan Card or Lotte Card registered on L.PAY, 100 winners will be selected by lottery to receive 2,000 points each. Participation in both events is possible.

Meanwhile, TESSA is a platform that selects works by blue-chip artists based on art market analysis data, divides ownership into small fractions, and allows investors to invest and trade as much as they want. Since its launch in April last year, it has successfully conducted fractional investments in works by famous artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring, totaling 13.5 billion KRW.
