Amorepacific Wins Two CES Innovation Awards for Customer-Customized Technologies
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Amorepacific has won the CES Innovation Award for the third consecutive year.
Amorepacific announced on the 11th that its customer-customized technologies, 'Mindlinked Bathbot' and 'MySkin Recovery Platform,' received the Innovation Award at CES 2022, the world's largest consumer electronics and technology exhibition.
'Mindlinked Bathbot' is a technology that analyzes a person's emotions through brainwaves and instantly creates bath bombs with scents and colors reflecting those emotions using a robot. When a user wears a headset equipped with eight sensors, brainwaves are measured in real time, and the data is analyzed to find the optimal scent and color for the individual. Based on this information, the robot creates a customized bath bomb on-site within one minute, allowing users to watch the process. Some services of 'Mindlinked Bathbot' were introduced to customers in May and June this year at Amore Store Gwanggyo and The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido.
'MySkin Recovery Platform' is an integrated platform that easily measures daily skin conditions and provides customized solutions to monitor skin improvement effects. Users diagnose changes on the skin surface through their personal smartphone cameras and lighted mirrors, and measure moisture and elasticity inside the skin using small sensors. Then, skin measurement data and cosmetic prescriptions are analyzed by artificial intelligence to continuously update and provide solutions for skin improvement, making it a next-generation personalized service.
Park Young-ho, head of Amorepacific Technology Research Institute, said, “Winning the CES Innovation Award this time is very meaningful as it once again recognizes Amorepacific’s future-oriented advanced customer-customized technology research and development efforts,” adding, “The Amorepacific Technology Research Institute will continue its challenge to make people beautiful and the world beautiful based on creative craftsmanship.”
