LG Chem Recruits 20 University Student Mentors for Environmental and Science Contribution Activities
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] LG Chem is recruiting 20 university student mentors for the 2nd Like Green social contribution program from the 5th to the 12th. This program, planned in collaboration with the Community Chest of Korea, World Vision Korea, and Dong-A Science, targets university students who are interested in mentoring children and adolescents or in environment, social, and governance (ESG) issues.

Applicants need to create a free-form video of up to 2 minutes about earth environmental conservation on the program's website. Selected students will participate in activities and receive training until March next year, sharing the knowledge they have learned. Former Foreign Ministry Climate Ambassador Yun Yeon-cheol, Ewha Womans University Professor Jang Yi-gwon, and KAIST Professor Jeong Jae-seung will participate as mentors. The company will provide lectures to help develop professional skills, support activity expenses, and grant volunteer hours.
