LG Electronics "OLED TV Annual Sales of 4 Million Units Feasible... Sales Share 32%"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] On the 28th, during the Q3 earnings conference call, LG Electronics stated, "OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) TV sales have been achieved at 100% of the planned target for the third quarter." They added, "Although there is a risk of decreased TV demand in the fourth quarter due to global economic uncertainties and the with-COVID (gradual return to normal life) phase, we expect to comfortably achieve the annual target of selling 4 million units, which is double the previous year’s figure." Furthermore, they noted, "In this case, the sales proportion of OLED TVs this year is expected to be about 32%, showing a continuous increase compared to 24% last year."
