North Korea Marks 72nd Anniversary of North Korea-China Diplomatic Relations, Vows to Strengthen and Develop Friendship to Envy the World
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] North Korea emphasized strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of diplomatic relations with China.
On the 6th, the North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on its website, "Firmly joining hands with the Chinese people to jointly struggle for socialist construction and the guarantee of peace and stability in the region is our unwavering position."
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized, "Over the past 72 years, the peoples of the two countries, North Korea and China, have always shared joys and sorrows while defending and glorifying the cause of socialism, overcoming all the hardships of time, and weaving a great history of friendship."
It added that Chairman Kim Jong Un and Chinese President Xi Jinping have held five summit meetings since March 2018, saying, "The most sincere comradely relationship established between the leaders is the cornerstone that firmly supports the pillar of North Korea-China relations in the new era and serves as a powerful driving force promoting the growth and strengthening of North Korea-China friendship."
