[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol) will provide 300 pregnant women in Dongdaemun-gu with 'Calligraphy Nursing Lamps with Baby Names' on October 10th, the 16th Pregnant Women’s Day.
This event was organized to commemorate Pregnant Women’s Day, leaving warm memories of breastfeeding for mothers and babies, and to improve awareness and practice of breastfeeding through a breastfeeding pledge.
Pregnant women who submit a breastfeeding pledge or congratulatory message for their baby on the Dongdaemun-gu Office website (Citizen Participation → Online Application) will receive a calligraphy nursing lamp inscribed with their baby name or desired phrase (within 15 characters) on a first-come, first-served basis for 300 people.
