View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Juhee] With the Netflix drama "Squid Game" gaining immense popularity, a series of political satire posts parodying it have been emerging one after another. Following the "50 Billion Game," which parodied the controversy over the 5 billion won retirement bonus of Gwak Sang-do, an independent lawmaker (formerly of the People Power Party), and the "Moon Jae-in Game," which mocked the Moon Jae-in administration's real estate policies, now comes the "Lee Jae-myung Game," criticizing Gyeonggi Province Governor Lee Jae-myung.
On the 29th, a post parodying Squid Game as the Lee Jae-myung Game attracted attention on an online community. Squid Game depicts a story where people burdened by debt risk their lives to compete in survival games for a grand prize of 45.6 billion won.
The Lee Jae-myung Game begins with the phrase "'The Moon Jae-in Game was just the prologue.'" Then, a game official wearing a red hood says, "Now, the host has changed. Season 2 begins from now on."
When a participant asks, "Who is the 20th president?" the official replies, "Not the 20th president, but the 1st president." Then, a figure with Lee Jae-myung's face superimposed as the game host appears and says, "Welcome to the Lee Jae-myung Game."

The game host, superimposed with Lee Jae-myung's face, says upon seeing the woman, "Seeing you reminds me of someone," and the officials suddenly drag her away somewhere. In the following scene, a drum barrel appears, and a participant says, "It's torn."
In another scene, when a character asks, "What are those plants next to us?" someone answers, "Hwacheon Deyu." The game host then says, "You know too much," and shoots that person. This scene appears to satirize the controversy surrounding the Daejang-dong development project in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province. "Hwacheon Deyu" sounds similar to Hwacheon Daeyu Asset Management (Hwacheon Daeyu), which has been suspected of receiving thousands of billions of won in special favors through investments in the Daejang-dong development project.

Additionally, the game host hands marbles to the participants, saying, "These marbles are the basic income fairly given to all of you." Then adds, "Use the marbles to buy goods in the village. Ultimately, no money enters the village. However, as the marbles circulate, the village's commercial district becomes lively." This borrows wording from a past promotional poster related to Lee Jae-myung's basic income policy.
Following this, a participant asks, "Sir, do you understand what that means?" showing a scene that seems to mock Lee Jae-myung's basic income policy. The story ends with a scene displaying the phrase, "The moment you joined the game! Your fate is sealed!" This parody has been shared widely across various online communities and social networking services (SNS), drawing considerable attention.
