CCaaS is a service that provides all infrastructure, systems, and applications of a contact center through the cloud via a network, without building a physical contact center system.
Based on the MOU signed the previous day at the KT Songpa Building in Songpa-gu, Seoul, the two companies will proceed with ▲ creating business based on CCaaS to secure an early lead in the AI contact center market ▲ discovering new AI contact center business models based on both companies’ solutions and services ▲ collaborating on product planning and marketing for new service businesses.
Through this, it is expected that customers who want to newly introduce a contact center can quickly receive the system without initial construction costs, and business continuity can be guaranteed through highly stable management. Additionally, the two companies plan to support contact center efficiency by applying omnichannel technology that integrates AI technologies such as voicebots and various consultation channels into one.
Choi Jun-gi, Executive Director of KT’s AI/Big Data Business Division, said, “This MOU has laid the foundation to provide KT’s various AI solutions to customers in the form of CCaaS,” adding, “We will ensure that KT’s AI and big data technologies contribute to the digital transformation and business innovation of contact center operating companies.”
