Gwangju City Recruiting Participants for 'THE Dreamplus Account 3rd Term'
200 People Until the 13th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 11th that it will recruit 200 participants for the ‘THE Dream Plus Account 3rd Term’ as a follow-up support project for the maturity holders of the Youth 13 Account until the 13th.
The ‘Dream Plus Account Project’ is a policy implemented since 2019 that has supported about 340 young people. It provides youth who have matured from the Youth 13 Account with a monthly savings of 100,000 KRW for six months and a maturity congratulatory interest equivalent to a 17% savings interest rate (up to 31,500 KRW).
The eligible applicants are graduates who matured from the 5th term of the 2020 Gwangju Youth 13 (Work+Life) Account, and applications can be submitted by downloading the application form from the city’s website under Notices and Announcements, filling it out, and sending it via email to the Youth Financial Welfare Support Center.
The selection results can be checked on the city’s website on the 17th. Selected participants will receive a text message with instructions for opening an online account.
Kim Youngseon, the city’s Youth Policy Officer, said, “We will support young people who have graduated from the Youth 13 (Work+Life) Account project to maintain their saving habits and nurture their dreams for asset formation, serving as a social support network for local working youth.”
