Jeonju City Provides Cool Sleeves and Fans to Vulnerable Groups
[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Jeonju City announced on the 30th that it has provided cool scarves, cool arm sleeves, fans, and other items to 354 vulnerable individuals.
With the heatwave continuously exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, Jeonju City, to prevent heat-related illnesses among vulnerable groups, delivered heatwave response supplies worth approximately 5 million won through sponsorship from private organizations.
Earlier in June, Jeonju City also distributed seven types of sponsored items, including fans, summer clothing, blankets, and health foods, worth about 44.58 million won to 4,839 elderly vulnerable individuals.
