GS Retail launches 'The Seasons Vivaldi' with 4 different labels on one wine bottle
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] GS Retail announced on the 30th that it is partnering with the renowned Italian wine house 'Umani Ronchi' to launch 'The Seasons Vivaldi,' a wine that captures spring, summer, autumn, and winter in one bottle.
This wine is made by aging Montepulciano grapes from the Marche region in central Italy for 12 months. It features a deep and bright ruby color and an appealing ripe fruit aroma, with low acidity and a dry taste that delivers a rich body.
With this release, GS Retail became the first in the industry to attach four different labels to one wine. Each label uses images of the four seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter) from the famous painter Alphonse Mucha's representative works, and a QR code is inserted at the bottom so customers can listen to Vivaldi's famous violin concerto "The Four Seasons" and check detailed descriptions of the wine.
GS Retail plans to first introduce products with spring and summer labels this month, followed by products with autumn and winter labels in the second half of the year, aiming to captivate wine enthusiasts and customers who love culture and the arts.
The price is 100,000 KRW, but until the end of August, it is available at a special launch price of 45,000 KRW at convenience store GS25, supermarket GS The Fresh, and the liquor smart order system Wine25Plus.
