Seoul SaeHwalYong Plaza Offers Free Upcycled Prototype Production Support to 60 Places
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 25th that it will provide free prototype production support to prospective entrepreneurs, companies, and citizens with excellent resource circulation ideas to help them realize upcycling ideas into products.
This program, hosted by the Seoul Upcycling Plaza, aims to support individuals or companies with outstanding ideas for promoting resource circulation and recycling but facing difficulties in product manufacturing by assisting in the production of upcycling prototypes to foster the upcycling industry.
This year, the scale of support has been significantly expanded to 60 participants, a substantial increase compared to last year’s support for prototype production for five companies. The support covers the entire process from upcycling product design to prototype production.
University students, prospective entrepreneurs, newly established startups (less than three years old), and citizens who wish to participate in the program can download the application form from the Seoul Upcycling Plaza website (www.seoulup.or.kr) and submit it via email or apply in person at the ‘Dream Factory’ on the first floor of the Seoul Upcycling Plaza.
