Chicken Maru, a Korean chicken specialty brand, announced on the 28th that it has recently selected Chuu from LOONA, who is gaining popularity through active activities, as its model.
Chuu is an idol actively participating in various entertainment shows such as Steel Troops and Hangout with Yoo, as well as the YouTube channel ‘Save the Earth Chuu,’ where she showcases a bright and lovable image. Chicken Maru explained that they chose Chuu as their brand model hoping that her bright energy and unique liveliness would resonate with consumers during the prolonged COVID-19 era.
Together with brand model Chuu, Chicken Maru plans to launch and promote new menu items named ‘Soy Chuu’ and the ‘Chuu Triple Set,’ which uses Chuu’s name. The Chuu Triple Set is a half-and-half menu that allows customers to enjoy the new Soy Chuu along with popular items Ready Hot and Snow Cheese Pang all at once. It can be seen in TV commercials and on Chicken Maru’s official YouTube channel.
Additionally, to commemorate Chuu’s appointment as the model, Chicken Maru is conducting a model guessing event on its official Instagram, actively communicating with the MZ generation and carrying out lively marketing activities.
