According to the Pohang Branch of Daegu District Prosecutors' Office and Pohang Bukbu Police Station in Gyeongbuk on the 20th, Mr. A (78) killed his daughter in her 40s, who was living with him, in broad daylight on April 20. Mr. A strangled his daughter with a rope he had prepared in advance, then wrapped her in a sack. He planned to bury her body in a nearby mountain. His wife also assisted.
The couple dug a large hole in the mountain, but moving the body was difficult, so they eventually called a mortician. They told the mortician, "We woke up to find our daughter dead," and asked for burial assistance.
