When You Check In with 080... Self-Quarantine Form Sent to Your Mobile Phone
KT Starts Call Check-in Self-Diagnosis Service on the 7th
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT announced on the 7th that it will launch the ‘Call Check-in Self-Diagnosis’ service, which allows for easier and faster creation of COVID-19 entry logs and self-diagnosis forms than before.
KT introduced the Call Check-in Self-Diagnosis service to minimize the risk of personal information exposure and difficulties in information management caused by manually filling out COVID-19 entry logs and self-diagnosis forms. When visitors call the dedicated 080 number of the visited location, the entry log is completed, and they receive the self-diagnosis form URL via text message on their mobile phones for easy completion.
Business operators can manage visitor logs and self-diagnosis results simultaneously, saving human and material resources used for quarantine management. Visitors do not need to line up or wait to fill out the entry log.
KT has pilot-applied the Call Check-in Self-Diagnosis service at the Seoul Arts Center performance hall, KT headquarters, and Internet Data Center (IDC) for visitor management and quarantine control. Visitors showed high satisfaction with the reduced waiting time for entry and the convenient self-diagnosis form completion. The Seoul Arts Center evaluated that the simple usage made explaining the self-diagnosis form and guiding entry easier.
