The video VFX work "First Step," produced last year, was showcased on "TheCGBros," a YouTube channel recognized as the world's best in the field of computer graphics.
The YouTube channel "TheCGBros" selects and features only the most outstanding CG video works worldwide.
Currently, it has 3.79 million subscribers, making it a globally renowned channel in the field of video animation VFX.
Many CG experts agree that passing TheCGBros' rigorous selection process is extremely difficult.
The video VFX graduation project "First Step" won the grand prize at the Daejeon Visual Art-Tech 2020 last October (supervising professor Kim Si-hyun).
The work visually details the Apollo 13 lunar landing process. It has been recognized for its outstanding quality, impressing even CG professionals working in the industry.
The project involved five students: Lee Dong-yeop, Kim Young-seok, Lee Min-gyu, Oh Mina, and Choi Jun-young.
